Position Summary:

As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for loading and laminating stock (bulkheads), positioning machines, changing tools, loading and running the program.

 

Shift Schedule: Project will be running on the afternoon shift for 1 month, then switched to the day shift ongoing

Day shift: 7:30am-3:45pm – $23.00/hr

Afternoon shift: 2pm – 11 pm – $23 (+$1 for Afternoon Shift Premium)

 

Location Details:

Mississauga. Access to public transportation.

 

Qualifications: 

  • 1-2 Years operating CNC milling machine (Ability to set up a machine is preferred)
  • Ability to run and stop machine, load programs and set home position and comfortable handling 4×8 MDF sheets
  • Be able to operate Thermwood CNC machines 3 axis and 5 axis, Milling Machine and Siemens control system
  • Completed high school diploma (or equivalency)
  • Clear criminal background
  • Manufacturing or General Labour experience
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours, with repetitive bending, twisting, and lifting (up to 30lbs)
